CueWee is an app that turns any song into multitracks. You upload the audio file and get separated stems (vocals, drums, bass, guitar and piano), a click track that follows the song's tempo, and a spoken guide track that calls out each section. Everything plays in a multitrack player built for rehearsal and the stage. It is made for bands, worship teams and musicians who play events, and it runs on the web, Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android.

How it works

  1. Upload the song

    Pick an audio file on your computer or phone. CueWee accepts MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and AAC files up to 15 minutes long.

  2. Get stems with click and guide

    CueWee separates the instruments, finds the tempo and the song sections, and builds the click and the spoken guide. You do not need a DAW.

  3. Play at rehearsal or on stage

    Open the song in the player, mute or solo any track and set the volumes. In the desktop app, send click and guide to your in-ear and the other tracks to the front of house.

What is CueWee?

CueWee is an app that splits a song into stems and adds a click track and a spoken guide track, so you can rehearse and play live with multitracks. Use it in the browser at studio.cuewee.app or in the apps for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android.

Can I make multitracks with click and guide from any song?

Yes. Upload a recording of the song and CueWee gives you vocals, drums, bass, guitar and piano on separate tracks, plus the click and the guide. To run everything from one stereo file, export in L/R mode, with click and guide on one side and the band on the other.

How does the guide track work?

A voice says the name of the next section and then counts, as in “Chorus, 1, 2, 3, 4”. The guide speaks English, Portuguese or Spanish, and you can edit the sections or record your own guide.

Which file formats does CueWee accept?

MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC, OGG and AAC, up to 15 minutes and 150 MB per file. When you export, you download WAV or MP3, either the full mix or the separate tracks in a ZIP.

Which devices does CueWee run on?

In the browser through CueWee Studio at studio.cuewee.app, and in the apps for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. Your library is the same everywhere, so a song you prepare on the computer is ready on your phone.

Is CueWee free?

You can start for free. Every new account gets 5 songs to try, with no credit card. After that there are two paid plans, Starter and Pro, billed monthly or yearly.

Does it work on stage and with in-ears?

Yes. Live mode follows the setlist of your event, and the desktop app sends each track to its own output on your audio interface, so click and guide go only to the band's in-ears. The phone apps play songs without internet once they are loaded.
